Choose the right extent of work

A wall with a few screw holes needs different work from a textured wall. We consider lighting, the substrate and the intended finish. Moving cracks should be investigated before being filled.

Allow time between layers

Filler is applied in suitable layers and must dry before sanding or further treatment. Deep repairs may need several passes. Sanding dust is removed before primer and paint.

Agree on the finish first

Light grazing a wall can reveal small irregularities. We discuss the finish you expect and the preparation it requires. Protection, dust control and subsequent painting are included according to the agreed scope.

A few useful answers.

Can you fill over old paint?

It may be possible if the paint is sound and the substrate is suitable. Cleaning and any adhesion primer are assessed first.

Can the wall be painted the same day?

That depends on layer thickness, the product and drying conditions. We plan around actual drying requirements.
