Data we receive
We may process your name, email, optional contact details, language, account type, project description, attachments and information added to a professional profile. Public business data may be retrieved from the Central Coordinating Register.
How data is used
Data is used to answer enquiries, manage accounts, review and publish professional profiles, prevent misuse and operate the website. Processing is based on a contract, consent or a legitimate interest in secure operation and follow-up.
Public professional profiles
Only approved profiles are published. Name, photograph, trade, location, experience, service area, languages, availability, profile text, business details and website may then be visible to everyone. Telephone numbers are not published. The stated hourly rate may also be public.
Job listings and responses
The account stores contact details for the person submitting a job, but these details are not published in the listing. The job text, city, category and preferred timing become public after review. Responses sent through the form are received by malerer.no for necessary forwarding and follow-up.
Recipients and services
Hosting and email providers process technical data to deliver the service. Telegram may be used for notifications about new enquiries. Google reCAPTCHA is used when enabled and may process technical data under Google’s own terms.
Cookies and logs
Necessary cookies support secure sessions, login and privacy choices. The website does not use analytics. Server logs and short-lived hashed identifiers may be used for security and abuse prevention.
Retention and deletion
When you request deletion, the public profile and job listings are removed immediately. Account data is kept for a 90-day recovery period. Logging in during that period restores the account; a professional profile must be reviewed again and previous jobs are not republished automatically. After the period, the account may be permanently deleted during the next maintenance run. Limited security logs and backups may be retained where law, documentation needs or the normal backup cycle require it.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data and object to some processing. You may complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority. Some data may be retained where law or documentation needs require it.
Security and changes
We use access controls, password hashing, CSRF protection, validation and login attempt limits. No solution is entirely risk-free. This notice is updated when processing or services change.
